I ordered the sirloin Patacon with sweet plantain and avocado.
I will say that although my food took roughly 10-15 minutes to make and there was only one older woman cooking up everyone's orders some how the 3 groups AFTER ME got their food before I did. To the point where the guy that took my order asked to see my receipt because everyone else kept getting called ahead of me which leads me to think my order got lost in sauce * so to speak * 馃檭
The patacon itself was really good. I wish the cheese were melted a bit more and everything in general had a touch more flavor but the portion was big enough to feed 2 practically.
Super fast, very friendly, tastes great, I got the sweet corn Arepa w cheese and guacamole 馃. I needed something quick before the airport and they were already done 5 min after I ordered it. 馃構 yummy. Lots of guacamole and good white cheese. The guacamole was seasoned just right and not too salty. Fast and easy and good 谩repas. Definitely going again. Base price for arepa w cheese is $7 plus $2 for each side.
Got my patac贸n sandwhich within 10 minutes. So freaking good!!!! I got the chicharr贸n one and it was filled with yummy cheese, beans, lettuce and the patacones were cooked to perfection. Definitely give this spot a try during your next shopping visit here !
delicious! will make you love arepas. I had the cheese arepas with chicharon and the green plantain arepas with the chorizo. she's at herpes were very soft and pillowy exactly that feeling along with the light cheese in it and very good crispy pork belly. and the green sauce and even the orange sauce were very good. The green plantain were more like the arapa that you would know but also had very fresh flavors with the chorizo which was not like the chopped up American kind but kind of more legit.
I鈥檝e had two good arepas here. Today鈥檚 was not as good and also there was a fly in my arepa. I called and they hung up on me.
This was my first time coming here. I ordered the arepa with sirloin and my partner ordered the patac贸n with chicharon (with the green plantain). The food was extremely flavorful and filling. Staff were polite and welcoming. The seating area for the establishment has cute print outs of the history of the restaurant which I found to be a cute read while we ate. I would definitely come back!
We heard of this little food market from someone who worked in the area and we decided to stop by for lunch and we鈥檙e so happy we did. What a cute little area with so much variety of food vendors. I decided to get the shredded beef patacon and was blown away by the quality, portion and price.
It was nice to sit and have a giant bowl of unlimited popcorn. Also had a drink which was very good it was a banana daiquiri. I also seen that for only $29
You clan get a pass for 1 month. Which 1 movie per day limit. Thats great for the winter. Something to do for cheap local. I will be coming back soon. Didn't give t stars because the seat doesn't recline
